Owner/ Lead Therapist
Joseph is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Missouri and a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker in Kansas. Joseph is also a Certified EMDR Therapist through the EMDR International Association. Joseph has experience in individual therapy services, both in person and through telehealth.
Joseph has worked in social services since 2011. In 2015, Joseph completed his undergraduate degree at Missouri Western State University, earning his Bachelor of Social Work. In 2016, Joseph obtained his Master of Social Work from the University of Kansas. To describe himself in a few words, Joseph says, "I am an empathic, honest, caring, and straightforward person".
During his time in practice, he gained a great deal of knowledge about adverse experiences and the impact they have on a person. This experience has led him to ensuring that he provide services through a Trauma-Informed approach. His goal is to guide you to living a life that is more comfortable, supported, and to allow you to develop a better idea of who you are outside of these lived experiences. By providing therapy, Joseph is able to be a professional and nonjudgmental person that can help you to develop and expand upon your already existing resources and skills through tough situations.
Over the years I have completed trainings in the following styles of therapy:
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR); EMDRIA Certified 2022
